What were the challenges you were facing before Firefly?

We were using a system that was cumbersome to use and only really available to very confident users of IT. Our INSET training was complicated, intensive and any skills learnt were usually forgotten within a few days because of the unintuitive system.

Why did you choose Firefly?

At a presentation by three different product providers, Firefly stood head and shoulders above the competition in terms of their professional response to the GDST requirements specification. From the outset it was obvious that this was a solution designed specifically to support the needs of learners and teachers and not simply a system that could be adapted for use in a school setting.

What has been the outcome?

Content generation and usage has significantly increased as teachers are more confident that they can quickly and easily create pages that are engaging and useful.
