Learning Consultant - Permanent - Full Time – London

The Learning Team is instrumental in ensuring that teaching and learning remains a key focus as we continue to grow.

Role

The Learning Consultant is required to gain wide experience of Firefly and our clients by engaging in client facing planning and training, and providing clients with expert advice on making the most out of Firefly. As a member of the Learning Team, you will have a role in providing educational insight and expertise to the rest of the business, as well as helping to present Firefly as thought leaders on the wider global stage. You will report into the Head of Learning.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Training

  • Deliver training to schools on-site and online
  • Provide feedback to help develop training programmes

Supporting Schools

  • Deliver planning meetings and support new schools as they plan to launch
  • Support schools before launching or installing new add-ons by resourcing school project leaders
  • Work with the Account Management Team by supporting established schools through the provision of guidance and materials for school project leaders and appropriate training for staff
  • Feed back information regarding schools to the Account Management Team to help increase their understanding of particular issues that a school might be facing
  • Collate and share good practice which helps schools gain an increased understanding of how Firefly is used

Preparation of training curriculum and resources

  • Assist in the production and updating of training materials and help documentation
  • Assist in the development of appropriate interventions to be used with client schools at different points in their Firefly life-cycle

Provide educational knowledge, context & expertise to rest of business

  • Support Firefly as an educational thought leader
  • Help to ensure the Firefly Team understands educational context through the delivery of internal training events
  • Provide training and support to ensure that all teams within Client Experience are product experts
  • Provide feedback from client interactions to Product Team
  • Support the organisation of and attend Firefly events, such as user groups and conferences

Skills and experience

  • Experience working with technology in education
  • Good understanding of schools and the education sector
  • Excellent communicator
  • Attention to detail
